Prometheus is the original provider of fire, a gift to the human race taken but not stolen from Mt. Olympus. Technology has always tended to race ahead of our personal and social development, though it can facilitate it at the same time. The Internet is a Promethean Dream, because it is technology facilitating the spread of technology. Empowerment is a Promethean quest.

However, unless you are an early adaptor or a techie, it is easy to get left behind. Software and communications keep getting easier for some, while leaving others completely unaware of the benefits. Technology can help you save money, save time, increase your leverage, reach more people, and make more money. It costs money in the short term, but pays a large return on the investment.
